Norman J. Bird Royal Scots
DUNDEE SOLDIER WOUNDED,
Mrs T. Bird, 14 Fleuchar Street, Dundee, has been notified that her son, Private Norman J. Bird, Royal Scots, was wounded in action. And that he is now lying in an English hospital.
Prior to enlisting in January of last year Private Bird was employed in the office of Messrs J. Mackenzie Stewart & Co., 37 Albert Square, Dundee. A brother of Pte. Bird, Gunner Thomas J. Bird, Royal Field Artillery, came home from Singapore to enlist. He is at present serving at the front.
