WIFE BRINGS HOME WOUNDED HUSBAND’S SOUVENIRS.

Pte. G. W. Webster, of the 5th Black Watch is lying in Westfield Hospital, Aberdeen, suffering from gunshot and shrapnel wounds in the right arm and right leg.

He was hit on 11th March, and on the day following he was admitted to hospital in Rouen.  Several days later he found himself lying in the Aberdeen hospital.

Private Webster’s wife, who resides at 14 Eliza Street, Dundee, paid him a visit, and she has brought with her all his souvenirs, which include a tobacco pouch, brush and wine glass belonging to German soldiers, and also a number of German cartridges.  A piece of shrapnel shell which was extracted from his leg, Private Webster also gave his wife.
