More about David Tolmie
David Tolmie Black Watch
CHEERFUL THOUGH WOUNDED.
Private David Tolmie, who has his home at 62 Caldrum Street, is another member of the 4th Battalion to be laid aside. Mrs Tolmie has received a short note from the front informing her that her husband had been wounded in the back, but it was hoped it would not prove serious, although it was rather too early to say much about his injuries. The note states that Private Tolmie was very cheerful, however, and that he had been sent down to the base. It is understood he has now been removed to hospital in England.
Private Tolmie, who is about 27 years of age, enlisted in September.
