Mrs M’Guinnes, who resides at 13 Arthur Street, has received word that her husband, Private William M’Guinnes, Connaught Rangers, has been wounded in the left arm and right hand, and admitted to a hospital in France. In a letter to his wife, Private M’Guinnes says that they did some good work on the 8th of the month, advancing about seven miles, and taking three big villages. Private M’Guinnes who is a regular, was drafted with his regiment from India in 1914. He was gassed in the early days of the campaign.
