George Tully Dundee’s Own
A MACHINE GUNNER WOUNDED.
Private George Tully, 22 Dens Brae, a member of the machine gun section of Dundee’s Own, was also a victim of German shrapnel fire on the memorable 9th inst.
He makes light of his wound, however, and, writing to his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Fox, 22 Dens Brae, with whom he resided, he says :–“I have arrived in England alright, and expect I will get home to you soon. You must not worry about my being wounded. It is not serious—only a slight wound in the back.”
The wounded private is 21 years of age, and has served several years with the Fourth. He was employed as a calenderer in Victoria Road, Calender.
