DUNDEE OFFICER GAINS MILITARY CROSS.

For playing a prominent and valorous part in the reconstruction of a bridge over the Scheldt under dangerous conditions, Second-Lieutenant Frank Pride, Royal Engineers, son of A. J. Pride, 2 Oakwood Terrace, Dundee, has gained the Military Cross.  The gallant officer, who has three brothers also on active service and one is training in a cadet school enlisted as a sapper in the Royal Engineers in 1916, prior to which he was employed with the late firm of Messrs Leslie Ower & Allan, architects, Dundee.
