Ormond Maxwell Loggie M.C. Lieutenant Royal Artillery
MILITARY CROSS FOR DUNDEE OFFICER.
Lieutenant Ormond Maxwell Loggie, of the Royal Artillery, upon whom the Military Cross has been conferred for conspicuous gallantry in action. The younger son of Mr Robert Loggie, headmaster of Dens Road School, Dundee, he enlisted in the Lovat Scouts at the outbreak of war, and subsequently received a commission in the Royal Artillery. Lieutenant Loggie, who in civil life was a stockbroker, was educated at the Grove Academy, and served his apprenticeship, prior to leaving for Edinburgh, in the Hilltown Branch of the National Bank of Scotland.
