DUNDEE FOOTBALLER HONOURED.
Sapper Wm Millar, Royal Engineers, has been awarded the Military Medal. He is a son of Mrs Millar, 56 Dura Street, Dundee, and has been in France for over two years. He was formerly employed by Mr Peter Roberts, painter, Albert Street, Dundee, and is the second of Mr Roberts’ employees to be honoured. Sapper Millar was well known in Dundee junior football circles before enlisting, having played as goalkeeper in the Stobswell eleven. He is 25 years of age.
