Peter Turnbull M.M. 290015 Black Watch
MILITARY MEDAL FOR DUNDEE MAN.
Private Peter Turnbull, Black Watch, eldest son of Mr John Turnbull, 1 Pitfour Street, Dundee, has been awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous gallantry displayed on 23d April.
Private Turnbull was in the Territorials for over a dozen years. When war broke out, he was resident in Burntisland, and at once threw in his lot with the Territorials in that district. He went out to France in May, 1915. Another brother Private John Turnbull is in the Army Service Corps.
