George Taylor M.M. 93160 Tank Corps
HONOUR FOR DUNDEE SOLDIER.
Mr and Mrs Taylor, 63 Dens Road, have received word that their son C.Q.M.S. George Taylor, Tank Corps, has been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry in action during recent operations. Enlisting in the Royal Scots under the Derby scheme, he was transferred to the M.G.C., from which he volunteered for the tanks, with which he went to France. In civil life C.Q.M.S. Taylor was an apprentice with Anderson & Wilkie joiners, Forebank Road. Three brothers are also serving.
