DUNDEE SERGEANT GAINS MILITARY MEDAL.
Intimation has been received that sergeant W. R. Purgavie, Royal Fusiliers, has been awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous bravery in the field. Sergt. Purgavie enlisted in January, 1915, and has served over two years in France. His wife resides at Pitempton Cottage, Downfield.
Before enlisting he was in the employment of Messrs J. & A. D. Grimond, Ltd.
