DUNDEE TEACHER MENTIONED.
Captain John Russell, A.S.C., whose wife resides at Violet Bank, Wormit, has been mentioned in despatches. The division to which Captain Russell is attached distinguished itself at Cambria, and the Divisional Major-General, who has sent a message of congratulation to Captain Russell, has been knighted for fine work accomplished on that occasion. Capt. Russell, who is well known in Dundee, is a graduate of Edinburgh University, and before the war was a teacher in Clepington Public School, Dundee.
