DUNDEE SOLDIER WINS MILITARY MEDAL.
Mrs Donnachie, 51 William Street, Dundee, has been informed that her husband, Private C. Donnachie, Connaught Rangers has been awarded the Military Medal. Private Donnachie carried in a wounded sergeant under heavy machine gun fire.
The gallant Ranger is a regular soldier, and has seen thirteen years’ service, eight of those having been spent in India. He came over with the first Indian Expeditionary Force, and was wounded.
