DUNDEE HERO WINS MILITARY MEDAL.
Mr Peter Roy, baker, 11 Charles Street, Dundee, has received information that his son, Sergeant Charles Roy, A.S.C., has won the Military Medal on September 21, 1916. Charles enlisted four years ago in the A.S.C., and was drafted to the front with the first Expeditionary Force. Previous to enlistment he was employed by Thomas Muir, Son, & Patton, coal merchants, Dundee.
