More about Malcolm Sharp
Mac as he was better known also had an Elder sister Margaret she was the eldest. He died on the 21st of March 1962 at Maryfield Hospital, Dundee from a brain haemorrhage. We believe he fought at Ypres. At one point he was a stretcher bearer. He was also shot, gassed and bayonetted. His only story was how he was taught how to play a banjo by a German POW during the conflict. Although he never talked about his experiences other than what has been passed on from his children, I belIEve his torso was covered in deep scars.
