Private William Wood Petrie (20), Scottish Rifles, Wellington Place, Church Street Broughty Ferry, killed in action. Prior to enlisting he was an apprentice slater with Messrs Brand & Son, St Vincent Street, Broughty Ferry. He was a former pupil of the Wester School.
