More about John Watt

For reasons unknown this man is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour. He was the brother of Alfred Watt S/23007, 2nd Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders, who was killed in action 28.03.1918.

Private John Watt, Royal Scots Fusiliers, youngest son of Mr George Watt, 13 Flight’s Lane, Lochee, has been posted missing since 10th April.  Enlisting two years ago, he had been almost 18 months in France, and prior to enlistment was in the employment of Camperdown Jute Works.  A brother, Private Alfred Watt also serving with the colours has been posted as missing.
