For reasons unknown this man is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour. Roderick was a former pupil of Grove Academy, Broughty Ferry and is remembered on the schools war memorial.
Roderick is believed to be the brother of Sapper David Farquhar Macrae, 541941, 3rd Battalion Canadian Engineers
