More about Alexander Keenan

Alexander has no known grave but is remembered on the Vimy Memorial. His regimental number is also recorded as 104353 in some sources. He had a brother who also served in the Canadian Army during the Great War, he was Sgt Stephen Keenan 43618, 12th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery. When Alexander enlisted, his parents were listed as residing at 22 Barrack St, Dundee. According to the Dundee Absent Voters roll of 1919, both Patrick and William are recorded as serving with the armed forces during the war, but with no Regiment or number recorded. He is also believed to be the brother of Gunner John Park Keenan, 636140, Royal Field Artillery.
