Farewell Dundee

Charlie took part in the great farewell march from Dudhope Castle to Tay Bridge Station. There the men gathered bound for Southampton where they boarded the S.S. Rossetti at Southampton for France. Spirits were high and for many it seemed like the start of a great boys’ adventure. Most thought it would all be over in a few months.
