John has no known grave but is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial. He was the brother of Pte Richard Charles Willmott, 453237, 58th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, and of Guardsman Charles Henry Willmott, 13353, 1st Battalion Scots Guards, who was killed in action 20.09.1917.
