Andrews 3 brothers all served during the Great War. Able Seaman Norman Walker, Clyde Z/390, Drake Battalion, killed in action 19.05.1915 aged just 16. Sapper Francis Walker, 458, 3rd Canadian Divisional Engineers and Pte John Walker, 1st Battalion Black Watch. Both Francis and John are believed to have returned home safely.

DUNDEE POLICEMAN DIES OF WOUNDS.
Private Andrew Walker, Scots Guards, a well-known member of Dundee Police Force, has died of wounds. Before joining the police about ten years ago deceased served in the Royal Artillery. In August, 1916, he joined the Scots Guards, and had seen much severe fighting.
He was well-known in Lochee, having been on police duty there for a considerable time. He leaves a wife and family, who reside in Logie Street. Deceased was a son of Mr Andrew Walker, broker and furniture dealer, 168 Hawkhill, who lost another son with the Royal Naval Division at Gallipoli, and has a third son still serving.
