John has no known grave but is remembered on the Doiran Memorial. He was the brother of Pte William Ramsay 241948, 1st/5th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, who was killed in action 14.11.1916 & Cpl Peter Ramsay, 40544, 123rd Brigade, Rayal Field Artillery, who died of wounds 12.02.1918.
