This man is also listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour as WATSON Charles. Charles two brothers both served during the Great War, David returned home safely but Company Sergeant Major William Morrison, 457925, 87th Battalion Canadian Infantry was killed in action 02.09.1918.
Charles D. Morrison 133887 Royal Field Artillery
DUNDEE ARTILLERYMAN FALLS.
Mrs Morrison, 38 Lilybank Road, Dundee, has received official intimation that her son Sapper Charles D. Morrison R.F.A., was killed in action on 15th October.
Sapper Morrison, who was 27 years of age, had been in France for fifteen months, and prior to enlistment served his apprenticeship with James Fullerton & Co., jute merchants, Meadowside, Dundee.
Two of deceased brothers are serving, Sergeant William Morrison came over with the Canadians, and Second Air Mechanic David Morrison, R.F.C., is at present in Salonica.
