David has no known grave but is remembered on the Arras Memorial. He was the brother of Sgt Alexander McNab 81658, 10th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, who was killed in action 24.05.1915.
On this day, 26 May 1918: S-20516 Pte. David Todd McNab, 11th Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, was killed in action in France, aged 25. Born in Dundee, McNab was a resident of Dallfield Road. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, Bay 9.
DUNDEE’S ROLL OF HONOUR. HIGHLANDERS IN CASULATY LISTS. Pte. David T. McNab, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, was the husband of Mrs McNab, 24 Dallfield Walk. He enlisted eighteen months ago, and had been ten months at the front. A brother, Sergeant Alexander M’Nab, was killed three years ago, and another brother is still serving. Prior to enlistment Pte.
