WELL-KNOWN LOCHEE MAN FELL IN ACTION.
Corporal-Piper Charles Mcdonald, Black Watch, whose wife and family of four reside at 8 Marybank Lane, Lochee, was killed by a shell on 30th October. Deceased as a Volunteer saw service in the Boer War, and joined up on 10th November, 1914. He was drafted to France in September last. He was 45 years of age, and in civil life was employed in the batching department of Camperdown Jute Works, Lochee.
