Attested 22 Sep 1914 to 3 Highland Field Ambulance, RAMC(T) with the regimental number 55 at the age of 17yrs and 11 months.
On 30 Jan 1917 he transferred to the Regular RAMC and was re numbered 90845 and posted to 35 Field Ambulance, RAMC in BEF in France
The son of Martin and Mary O’Brien King of 39 Milnbank Road, Dundee he was killed in action on 16 August 1917.
