William Foley 2384 Black Watch
DUNDEE SOLDIER DIES OF WOUNDS.
Mrs Wm. Foley, who resides at 29 Blackness Road, Dundee, has received official intimation that her husband Lance-Sergeant Wm. Foley, of the Black Watch, died of wounds received in action on 15th inst.
The deceased soldier enlisted in the Black Watch in February, 1915, and up to the time of receiving his fatal injuries he had been engaged in much fighting without injury. He was previously employed in Queen Victoria Works, Brook Street, Dundee, and leaves a widow and young family to mourn his loss.
