Charles was the brother of Pte John Beatson, S/42548, 1st Battalion Gordon Highlanders, who was killed 23.10.1918.
Charles Beatson 37834 Royal Berkshire Regiment
The two sons of Mr Beatson, 24 Watson Street, Dundee, have been killed in action within the past month. Private Charles, who was the elder son, was 23 years of age. He enlisted three years ago, proceeding to France with the Berkshires shortly after. Prior to enlistment deceased was employed as a baker.
