DUNDEE SOLDIER DIES FROM WOUNDS.

Mr George Allan, gardener, 34 Baldovan Terrace, Dundee, has been informed of the death from wounds at the front of his third son Pte. George Allan, Black Watch.  Prior to enlistment deceased was a clerk in the employment of Messrs Isles & Behrens, jute and linen merchants and manufacturers, 84 Commercial Street, Dundee.  He was 19 years of age.

A brother, Lance-Corporal Joseph Allan, is in the Scots Guards, and is on active service.
