There is no W. Adam, Regimental Nunber 9076 Highland Light Infantry, listed on either the C.WG.C. or S.D.G.W. That, Regimental number was allocated to Pte Walter W. Hamilton 9076, Highland Light Infantry. Believe this man to be Pte William Adam, 55801, who was killed in action 22.05.1881
