Great War Dundee – Home Front Exhibition Tour

Following it’s successful launch at Lochee Library the Dundee Home Front Exhibition will tour all Dundee community libraries. The exhibition offers an informative insight into Dundee’s Home Front activities during WW1.

Due to limited space in libraries the exhibition will often be split into 2 smaller exhibitions as follows:

• Exhibition 1 features: Daily Life,  Recruitment, Culture & Entertainment, War Resistance and City Planning.
• Exhibition 2 features: Industry, Defending the City, Fundraising,  Children at War, Rent Strikes, Churchill v Scrymgeour,
